Earlier they had decided to charge Rs.75 for 75MB VoIP services usage. VoIP services include Skype,Viber,LINE etc.

It can be noted that Whatsapp will soon introduce VOIP service.

Charging separately for VOIP usage is total violation of Net Neutrality. Airtel said that they will wait for TRAI’s upcoming regulations on OTT players including VoIP before implementing their new VoIP packs.
