BSNL REVISED GPRS AND 3G PACKS

BSNL has revised its data usage charges for 2G and 3G customers. They have increased the data download charges for prepaid as well as postpaid customers in 2G and 3G.The charges have been increased to 2p/10KB from the earlier 1p/10KB in home as well as in roaming.According to the new plan,Rs 2/MB will be charged for data downloads. BSNL has revised its data usage limits in a GPRS postpaid plan and in a 3G postpaid plan.Apart from that added a new 3G postpaid plan.Unlimited 2G Postpaid plan of Rs 249 will now have free data usage of 6GB only. Similarly postpaid 3G plan of Rs 1359 which was unlimited earlier will now have a free data usage of 15 GB.3G postpaid plan of Rs 2720 which will offer 35GB free data usage for a month. These rates will be applicable from 18th Feb 2011.  BSNL offers this free data usage in home as well in roaming.Telecom circles can suitably adjust the MRP in the price band of a pack upto  Rs. 3 (+/-) of the prices considering the technical feasibility and local market situation.
