Pan India mobile number portability was implemented on January 20 and the porting of initial applicants was done yesterday. But after porting strange problems are being reported from different parts. The ported customers are not getting incoming calls. When somebody tries to call that numbers they get reply as “this number does not exist”. But the ported customers are able to make outgoing calls. But no incoming calls and messages are delivered. This problem is at present reported by customers ported from BSNL to Airtel and reverse that is from Airtel to BSNL.Some people face these problems when ported from Airtel to Vodafone and viceversa. If any body facing this problem please comment here.We are hoping that this problem will be resolved soon by concerned authorities.
